New York, NY —Tannenbaum Helpern is pleased to announce that Ari Davis has been named a partner in the firm’s Real Estate practice.

Ari has over 10 years of commercial real estate transactional experience. He advises real estate developers, commercial property owners, REITs, businesses in various industries and institutional lenders in connection with sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, retail and office leasing, and real estate financings. In particular, he frequently represents owners and developers in the acquisition and sale of multifamily properties, shopping centers and office buildings throughout the United States, and lenders and borrowers in real estate financings involving various loan structures.

His real estate experience includes representing:

• a renowned family-owned real estate company in connection with the refinancing of a real estate portfolio consisting of ten multifamily buildings.
• a New York City real estate developer in a $60 million plus mezzanine loan for a partial recapitalization of the construction financing for a 60-story luxury condominium tower in NYC’s Financial District.
• an international publicly-traded medical supply company in connection with the acquisition of its to be constructed 150,000 square foot headquarters in Tennessee, structured as a net lease with an option to purchase.
• a national real estate private equity firm in its acquisition and financing of a hotel in downtown Detroit.

Ari is a frequent speaker on real estate topics and regularly moderates panel discussions for the New York Young Jewish Professionals’ Real Estate Investment Division.
