Resolution of Workplace Complaints Through Mediation

Tannenbaum Helpern employment team was engaged by a privately held company to resolve its employee’s complaints resulting from overlapping personal romantic relationships among multiple individuals, who were all valued employees the client desired to retain. After conducting interviews of the parties involved and weeks of discussions with the complainant’s attorney, Tannenbaum Helpern crafted unique settlement terms during a JAMS mediation. Our client was able to settle the dispute on terms acceptable to the client with a relatively minimal monetary payment and retain all employees involved.
