Negotiated, drafted and testified in support of New Jersey beer franchise law enacted in 2005
We were retained by a group of New Jersey beer distributors to draft and negotiate with a major brewer a statute to protect beer distributors from termination by their suppliers without good cause. We successfully negotiated the provisions of a statute, worked with other beer distributors and their trade association to refine it and obtain united distributor-tier support, and successfully supported the bill in the Legislature against the opposition of other brewers and importers.
