Biography
Lauren has more than fifteen years of experience handling all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, acquisitions, sales, financing, joint ventures, investments and development. She negotiates all aspects of office, retail, restaurant, filming and production, warehouse, medical, and coworking leases for both landlords and tenants. Lauren also represents purchasers and sellers in all aspects of the acquisition and sale of commercial properties.
With extensive experience advising on real estate financings and investments, Lauren represents clients in commercial mortgage and mezzanine financing, joint venture and development agreements. She negotiates development rights transactions, including license agreements, purchase and sale agreements and zoning lot development and easement agreements. Lauren advises real estate owners and tenants in connection with construction projects, including contractor, architect and designer contracts.
- Advised a New York City based real estate developer on the sale of development rights
- Advised an advertising agency on both its 60,000 square foot office lease in Brooklyn and its 30,000 square foot office lease in Los Angeles
- Represented a New York City based landlord in leasing dance studio space to a university
- Advised a midsize law firm on its 55,000 square feet office lease in the financial district
- Represented an Iron Chef in leasing restaurant space in Tribeca
- Advised a family-managed owner/developer on a $23 million mortgage financing secured by three residential rental buildings
- Represented a family-owned bakery with a national presence in retail leases and vending machines
- Advised a celebrity chef in leasing office and production space
- Represented television series in licensing office, production and studio space
- Represented borrowers in refinancing several New York City multi-family residential and commercial properties
